Kruk SUMMARY Leo Gray and the Lunar Eclipse Who  hasn't dreamed of going to the moon That dream for eleven year old Leo Gray is about to come true but he’s in for the surprise of his lifeIn the year 2113 most people live in robotically maintained homes ride around in self flying cars and wear ozone resistant clothes Most people that is; just not Leo Gray’s parents They’re stuck in the past and science know it all Leo is comp I received this book in exchange for a honest review Overall I thought the plot and characters were a lot of fun and I really enjoyed how the author kept me guessing about what would happen next for Leo and his friends I ended up reading the whole thing in just two nights because I was so curious to see how things would turn out for them The plot is set a hundred years in the future but Leo s family are really weird and live like it s still the modern era which is pretty funny Leo is your typical science loving kid who enters a rocket competition to try to get to the new school inside the moon but he instead gets grounded to helping his neighbor stop trees from disappearing in their neighborhood Leo s neighbor tells Leo that the reason the trees are disappearing is because of aliens but Leo doesn t believe him until he actually meets a baby one named Grimlu Grimlu then tells Leo and his friends about a evil breed of aliens called Mleckorgs which invade planets and suck away all traces of their life which they did a long time ago to our surrounding planets like Mars Earth of course is next on their list This sends Leo and his friends on a wild goose chase to come up with a plan to stop the Mleckorg s portal from opening on the night of the lunar eclipse But without revealing too much everything you think you knew ends up being completely off when you reach the final chapter In short I really enjoyed reading this book It reads like a classic middle grade fantasy novel but with a fun sci fi twist
